Watch the 2023 8 Over 80 Video Recap:

Jewish Senior Life’s Eight Over Eighty fundraiser is our community’s premier celebration honoring older adults.

Since 1993, the event has honored eight remarkable people in our community, each 80 years of age or older, with The Tikkun Olam Award for helping to “Repair Our World.” This coveted honor is the most prestigious award for older adults in our community. In partnership with the Frankel Jewish Academy, students are introduced to our honorees and lifelong friendships are made.

This is Jewish Senior Life’s major annual fundraiser. Proceeds from Eight Over Eighty help enhance the quality of life for residents throughout JSL communities, with an emphasis on subsidizing the cost of food for low-income or indigent residents.

In addition to those who receive nutritious meals because of this event, the general community benefits by acknowledging these older adults and their contributions, both big and small. This helps older adults throughout the community feel they are respected, valued and appreciated.
