JSL IN THE NEWS: JEWISH SENIOR LIFE RESIDENTS SUPPORT LOCAL HEROES AND LA WILDFIRE RELIEF

In the March 4th Detroit Jewish News, Hechtman and Meer residents were acknowledged for giving back and raising funds for first responders and LA wildfire appreciation.

 

“Tikun olam is a big part of Meer’s culture,” says Meer Administrator Marcia Mittelman. “Our residents have collected money for Yad Ezra, Jewish Federation of Detroit’s Israel Emergency Fund, the West Bloomfield Fire Department and other worthy causes. Their thoughtfulness and generosity, combined with their desire to make a difference in the world, adds meaning to their lives.”
