Looking for a comfortable and affordable place to call home? Meer is proud to offer a special grant-funded program that provides rent for as low as $1,500 per month! If you qualify, you can secure this rate for up to 5 years, giving you peace of mind and stability.
How It Works:
Meer has been awarded grants to help make senior housing more accessible. Through this program:
- Rent is locked at $1,500/month for 10 qualifying 1-bedroom apartments, starting August 1, 2024.
- Secure your rate for up to 5 years, depending on when you enter the program.
- Utilities and 5 dinners a week (Monday-Friday) are included in the Bronze Rental Package.
- After five years, rent increases are capped at 5% annually.
Do You Qualify?
To qualify, your income must be at or below 80% of the HUD Median Income for Oakland County.
Required Documentation:
- Past 6 months’ bank statements (including checking, investments, IRAs)
- Completion of a HUD asset list form
- Attestation confirming all information is accurate
