The Margot and Warren Coville Assisted Living and Memory Care provides a warm and home-like environment, rich with tradition and culture. Located on the A. Alfred Taubman Jewish Community Campus in Oak Park, Coville’s Memory Care Unit is located on the 2nd floor of the Prentis Apartments and is designed to enrich the lives of older adults with dementia and related conditions by providing additional supports and programming specific to the needs of those residents.
Coville’s unique design organizes suites on each floor around a central hub, consisting of a living room, kitchen and dining room/multi-purpose room. This helps to provide a home-like feeling of safety and security to Coville’s beautiful, recently renovated spaces, where residents enjoy the comforts of home in a communal setting.

I have more than 20 years of experience working with older adults. Prior to my position as Administrator of Coville, I worked for 10 years as the Program Coordinator of the JSL Fleischman Residence/Blumberg Plaza as well as the Coordinator of JSL Activity Professionals. Prior to working with older adults I worked in education, where I created educational programs for both traditional and non-traditional students. That skill set has been beneficial in providing in-service training for Coville staff. Along with my colleagues, I work every day to improve the quality of life for the older adults we serve by meeting their social, spiritual and physical needs.
I have been a nurse for more than 40 years. I did the majority of my clinical training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. I have extensive nursing home experience as a charge nurse, as well as in hospitals and long-term care facilities. I also worked as an insurance review nurse. Prior to coming to Coville I was working on the JSL West Bloomfield campus as a weekend nursing supervisor and I was also teaching Certified Nursing Assistants at Career Advancement in Healthcare Institute. I have enjoyed my 7 years working in assisted living the most and I adore being a part of our residents’ everyday lives, helping them maintain their independence. I enjoy reading, playing games on the computer, swimming, traveling and spending time with my family.
