Volunteer at JSL
Volunteers are the special ingredient in all aspects of life at JSL. Come help with bingo, bridge, mah jongg, arts and crafts, current events, creative writing, fitness, and many other activities. Our boutiques, bistro and café are all volunteer run. Whatever your passion is, we invite you to share it with our older adults.
West Bloomfield
Located right off Maple Road near Drake, the Meer and Hechtman Independent Living facilities on our West Bloomfield campus are a short distance from restaurants, parks, and more. With the nearest golf club less than 10 minutes away and beautiful parks nearby, our residents experience the best the area has to offer. Volunteers play a vital role in enriching life on our West Bloomfield campus, bringing warmth, companionship, and engaging activities that foster a strong sense of community.
Oak Park
At Jewish Senior Life’s Oak Park campus, volunteers play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents at Prentis Apartments, Teitel Apartments, Coville Apartments, and Coville Memory Care Community.
From leading activities to offering companionship, volunteers bring joy, purpose, and connection to our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities. Your time can brighten a resident’s day, whether through conversation, assisting with events, or sharing a special skill.
