As we prepare for the High Holidays during the sacred Jewish month of Elul, we can search our souls, read, attend services and, as modern Jews, use the internet to find inspiration. I listen to podcasts like Unorthodox Unorthodox Podcast | Tablet Magazine and read from the ancient books of our Jewish people, the Tanach, to remind me that each year, we can reboot ourselves, as we prepare to reflect on who we are and what we believe and how we can better ourselves in the coming New Year.
Speaking of reboot, many of us are familiar with the 20-year-old Jewish arts and culture non-profit organization with the same name. Reboot reimagines and reinforces Jewish thought and traditions. Their website says: “Reboot is a research and development platform for the Jewish World, to catalyze creators, artists, entrepreneurs and activists to produce experiences and products that evolve the Jewish conversation and transform society.”
