LNHA Administrator

mmittelman@jslmi.org

I have been an administrator in senior communities for the past 30 years. During my career, I served as Director of Education for the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Michigan Chapter and lectured at conferences and universities.  My passion for older adults began at the young age of 16 and that love for older adults continues to this day.  My team and I take great pride in providing a warm and caring home-like environment for our residents.

Assistant Administrator

After teaching Special Education in inner-city Baltimore and San Diego, I returned home to Michigan to raise my children before joining the JSL team in 2012.  My position as Assistant Administrator is rewarding and gratifying.  The highlight of my day is meeting with residents and learning about them.  I love the family atmosphere at Meer and feel privileged to be a part of their home.

Jackie Rosender Meer Apartments

Jackie Rosender
Independent Senior Living Consultant

jrosender@jslmi.org

I have enjoyed working at JSL as an Independent Senior Living Consultant for a few years. I have always had a special bond with older adults, and have always liked to help others. Being able to help older adults is a win win for me. Whether I am helping a future resident or current resident, they are both equally important to me. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, going on walks, and hanging out with my husband, our twin daughters, and our new puppy.

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Central Michigan University. It was while I was working as the Director of Social Work in a skilled nursing facility that I realized how much I loved working with older adults. My work experience also includes hospice care, home care and community mental health. I volunteered as a support group facilitator and speaker’s bureau member for the Alzheimer’s Association. I joined the JSL family in 2015.
