Cars are a part of the life-blood of most Detroiters, and for the residents of the communities of Jewish Senior Life, classic cars bring back memories of cruising Woodward, first dates and a time gone-by. Each year, more than 70 cars spanning every decade, cruise the Jewish Community Campus, where residents, family members and the community can enjoy the festivities and party atmosphere. Held just a few days before the Woodward Dream Cruise, the Senior Dream Cruise provides an opportunity for those older adults living on campus, and who may be mobility-impaired, with a chance to enjoy the classic cars and reminisce about their days of cruising down Woodward behind the wheel of some of the very same models they will enjoy in this trip down Memory Lane.
